AKM LEATHERS is one of the front line manufacturer and exporter of premium finished leather of Sheep & Goat leather for shoes and Garments industries.

Our root dates back to the late 90s when we first began with manufacturing of finished Goat and sheep leather for Shoe Uppers & linings. With strong focus on quality, we’ve come a long way since then. Today we have a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced work force who are fully focussed on making high quality leather and on time delivery.

We believe that we are catering the best quality finished leather and we are constantly focusing on innovation. We will engage in sustainable practices and anticipate the needs of our customers globally with a focus on environmental stewardship, activities to benefit society. We believe that we need to own and control the primary technologies behind the products that we make.

Our Tanneries is located in Vaniyambadi, Vellore district, Tamil Nadu-INDIA and consists of 2 main divisions, Section 1 & 2. Section 1 is a wet unit, which is well equipped with state-of-the-art machinery procured from the best manufacturers. The product lines processed in here are Sheep & Goat Skins with processing facilities from beam house upto crusting.

Secction 2 is a dry unit, which is equipped with world class post tanning and finishing operations to cater to the requirements of top brands in the industry. A Research and development (R&D) division of the tannery plays a key role in continuously developing and catering to the ever changing trends of the fashion and leather industries.

Since the quality of the finished product is dependent on the raw material quality, we take the utmost efforts to source the best. Once the raw material is procured, it is subjected to rigorous checking and cleaning before being sent for processing. The various processes also undergo several levels of inspection that comply with international norms.

Backed by efficient quality testing personnel and stringent tests, our finished product is delivered to meet global standards. Seriousness and punctuality distinguish our service to our customers. We are able to ship merchandise anywhere in the world just a few weeks from the date of order, and only 2 weeks are necessary to obtain samples from us.

The company has declared , encourages productive and enjoyable harmony between man and his environment. To achieve above we will set, monitor and review objectives and targets related to environmental management.

We manufacture Innovative and unique designs in Goat leathers which include Goat shoe suede, Goat soft nappa, Semi veg wash burnish, Goat tipping, semi veg hot tumble, Goat Glazed, Milled, Nappa, Polish, Burnish, Brush-off, Metallic, Linings and various varieties of Goat foil leathers for Shoes, Garments and Leather Goods Industries.
